Dr. Laura Wingers   center psychology & consulting — Center Psychology & Consulting

Parent Seminar #8: ADHD, Anxiety, and the Gifted Child

Presenters: Dr. Laura Wingers, Founder, CENTER Psychology & Consulting/ Dr. Beth Richter, Clinical Psychologist, CENTER Psychology & Consulting

Description:

As parents, we do the best we can. But sometimes we get stuck. Particularly if we see behavior problems or emotional challenges or social difficulties or academic delays that just don’t add up. We don’t know why they’re happening. Or we’re not sure what to do about them. And we know that sometimes, with gifted children, challenges like anxiety and ADHD can be misunderstood, or misinterpreted, or responded to in ways that are not helpful.

When we understand better, we DO better. We can shift the lens through which we see the problem. And when we do that, we change our reaction. We can connect. And we can work together to solve the problem.

Join us to learn more about anxiety and ADHD in gifted children with Dr. Laura Wingers & Dr. Beth Richter of CENTER Psychology & Consulting.
