I am a California native and have been living in Arizona for a little over a year.  My children and grandchildren all live in Arizona now.  When the last of them decided to relocate, so did I.  Suprisingly (to me) I am really enjoying Arizona and all the wonderful people I have been meeting.  

As a graduate of Cal State Fullerton, with a BA in English, I have taught at the middle and high school levels for over 15 years.  Being new to Deer Valley was a little scary at first, but the staff has been kind and understanding.  Everyone has been so very helpful!  I don't believe I could've landed in a better district or at a better school.  

It'll be very exciting to see what this school year has in store.
