Welcome to Mrs. Oberly's 6th Grade ELA! 

We're so happy to have you as part of our team this year.  Please make sure to visit our page often to see what we're learning, news from our classroom, and to check on current assignments.  This year we'll be stretching our writing and reading skills while focusing on Narrative, Informational, Argumentative, and Literary writing and texts.  We'll be adventuring with Percy Jackson and the Olympians while they track down the lightning thief and exploring character identity and ethical dilemmas in The Giver for our two novel studies.  I hope you're ready to work hard and be awesome!
