Dear students and families,
I want to begin by sharing how heartbroken I am that our school year is ending in such a strange way. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these very confusing times. As a district we are moving towards online/distance learning. This is a huge undertaking for all of us involved: students, parents, administration, and myself. As our class motto goes, "It's not impossible, it's just difficult".
To help facilitate learning at home, I will be posting weekly lesson plans for students to follow. Each week students will complete two reading, math, science, social studies, art, music, and physical education lessons. Each day they will write in an online reflection journal. If you do not have access to internet or technology, please reach out to me.
Additionally, I will have open office hours and Zoom meetings every morning and afternoon to continue building our class community. These times are designated for asking questions, making connections, and having fun.
Most of my communication will continue to be via Class Dojo. Please let me know if you need anything or have any questions.
I am on Zoom Daily from 9:00-9:30 and again from 1:00-1:30 Monday-Thursday. Please email me if you would like an additional time slot.
Stay safe and wash your hands! :) I miss all of you!
