Hello Stallion Families!
Deer Valley Unified School District's philosophy for a successful home learning implementation focuses on student connection, equity, and a smooth and simple transition so that every student can achieve learning success and maintain social and emotional well-being. As we begin this process of Home Learning Together, there are some ways we will stay in contact.
Email- We will read & respond to emails Monday through Friday during our work hours.
Virtual Zoom meetings- Beginning April 6th, our virtual office hours will be Monday-Thursday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. utilizing the Zoom platform. We will send an email to families that will allow you to join these virtual meetings. If you did not receive this e-mail, please reach out to us and we will resend it. We will work out any technical difficulties together. These meetings are not mandatory for you or your child to attend. It provides a time for us to chat, ask questions and simply connect as needed. There may be multiple families in our Zoom meetings. For added security, students will be placed in a virtual waiting room. We will admit only students and parents who have been invited.
One-on-one appointments- via Zoom invite or phone call. Please reach out to us if you have something you feel that needs to be addressed one on one. We are happy to set up an alternate time to meet. We are in this together. If you would like to discuss a personal matter with, please email to set up a personalized one-on-one appointment.
Stay strong and healthy Stallions!!
