I emailed eveyone the invite to their classess! If you need the code again, you MUST email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org and 6th Grade Band Virtual lessons through ZOOM!If you are unable to participate in lessons online for any reason, please email me!I have posted alternate bands lesson at the bottom of this web page!All band students from Park and Village will be receiving a SignUp Genius message through a Parent/Guardian email AND the district provided Google email address. Please work as a family to coordinate what email address you are going to use for communication and band lesson sign ups. I don't want to have anyone sign up twice. STUDENTS---log into your Google Account and check your email. It may be the easiest way to communicate with teachers and to schedule lessons. Once you've logged in, you can access your Gmail!The link below(Weekly Band Schedule)will be to a Google Doc where you can click on your name and access ZOOM at the time of your lesson. If you are using an Ipad(or any tablet)or a mobile device, you will need to download "ZOOM Cloud Meetings"...It's Free!!! If you are using a Laptop or Desktop computer(hopefully with a built in camera and microphone)it will just take you to the ZOOM website and then you can get started.When you sign up, please pick a time that will work for you each week at the same time to make scheduling easier!Please have your instrument put together and material ready BEFORE your lesson time so we can get started right away. 1) Go to Quaver Website.
2)Click on Yellow Icon named "Student Interactives" at the top of the page, then type in Quaver Code that I emailed to you. If you don't have it, please email me.
3) Click on Instrummnets and knowldge
4) Find your instrument and study all the different parts of your instrumnet on advanced(Percussion got to this website, "Anatomy of a Snare Drum")
5). Take Parts of Instrumnets Quiz for your instrument in Google Classroom
6) Go to Classics For Kids Music Website and play 10 minutes of "Match the Rhythm" Game!Week of April 27th through May 1stIMPORTANT...As of this week, all lesson will be run through Google Classroom!
