Hello Blackhawks!

My name is Mr. Gallardo and I am thrilled to be your new band, choir, and general music teacher! I am looking forward to all the fun activities and all the great music that will be played. I have previously taught at Sandra Day O'Connor as a marching band tech, concert band specialist, and their jazz director!

I grew up in the DVUSD and went through Mirage Elementary, Desert Sky, and Deer Valley High School. After I graduated from Deer Valley, I attended Glendale Comunity College and transferred to Northern Arizona University where I studies Saxophone Performance! Although saxophone is my primary instrument, I started as a trumpet player in 4th grade!

Since graduating, I have worked as a musician in the Phoenix area where I perform with corporate/event bands, play in musicals, and have done studio recording work. I also teach private lessons for both woodwinds and brass as well as guitar and beginning ukelele.
