Algebra 1
  • Course Objectives

In Algebra 1, students analyze and justify the processes of solving an equation and a system of linear equations. Sutdents develop fluency in writing, interpreting, and translating various forms of linear equations and inequalties, and use them to solve problems. They solve linear equations and apply related techniques, along with the laws of exponeents, to solve simple exponential equations.
