Welcome to Pathways American and World History ! My name is Mrs. Jennifer Newton and I am excited to be your Social Studies teacher! This is my 7th year teaching in the Deere Valley Unified School District.  I have bee teaching 22 years total.  I grew up in Phoenix and went to Apollo High School. I went to NAU for my  Degree in History/Social Studies Education, I completed my Master's in Educational Leadership and Administration from GCU in 2007.  This is my 5th time teaching DVUSD Pathways, I am excited to work with the students in a smaller enviornment.   I currently teach at Boulder Creek High School where I have been for 6 years now. In my spear time I watch TV dramas, read, watch NASCAR. I also spend time with my husband who I have been married to for 18 years and my 17 year old daughter Jordynn.
