COURSE INFORMATION:

  • The DVUSD adopted curriculum and focus on the AZ State Standards for English Language Arts are the main sources for materials.  Canvas continues as the main delivery of materials with additional in-class discussion.  Assignments will be posted daily on Canvas - students may only work on that day's assignments and will not have homework - given that they are managing their time in our daily class period Monday - Friday.
     

    ELA 3 and 4 are sophomore-level English Language Arts courses.

    ELA 7 and 8 are senior-level English Language Arts courses.

GETTING STARTED:

  • Login to Canvas online or with the Canvas app (iOs/Android).

    Parents can also log in to Canvas to observe classes and student progress. Parents even have their very own app: Canvas Parent.

     

TIPS FOR SUCCESS:

    • Be present, both physically and mentally.
    • Arrive with a positive attitude.
    • Remain attentive.
    • Work hard and you will be successful.
