Hello!  My name is Katy Mordka and I am really excited for this coming school year. I received my bachelors degree in elementary education from Northern Arizona University and have taught different grade levels but most recently, 2nd grade. I am thrilled to be joining the 7th grade team at Sonoran Foothills. 

I grew up in Phoenix but my husband and I have lived in Colorado and Indiana. We moved back to Arizona 6 years ago. We have 2 kids, Reagan and Will. I love traveling, reading, baking, all things Disney, and anything where I can spend time with my family. 

I am really looking forward to a great year!
