This is my 14th year as a Reading Specialist. I have also taught 2nd and 3rd grade.  I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Elementary Education. My Master of Education Degree with a Reading Endorsement is from Northern Arizona University.

I moved to Arizona from Chicago when I was 8 years old.

I have 2 children. My son is living in Texas to finish his Masters Degree. My daughter attends NAU. We have two puppies that we adopted right before COVID started.

My husband and I like to  spend time with our children and extended families. 

I like to spend my free time reading, scrapbooking, watching movies, and walking when the weather permits.

 My role is to support Kindergarten - Third grade students that are intensive on DIBELS and struggle in the subject of Reading. I look forward to helping my students grow as readers, watching their reading abilities and confidence increase, and learning about what interests each of my students have.
