Hello! I'm so happy you came upon my webpage.

A little about me...A graduate of Otterbein University and The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, my previous career was in corporate visual merchandising where I worked at Levis Strauss and Gymboree corporate, both headquartered in San Francisco. While my career in design was exciting and challenging, it was not as fufilling as I had hoped. Having worked with kids in the past, I knew how rewarding it would be for me to teach. Thus, I decided to follow a similar path as my mom (a retired speech-language pathologist) and work as an ELA service coordinator.

A native of Ohio, I am very close with my family and try to visit home a couple times a year. I'm also an avid yogi and weight train frequently. I've been active all my life and consider it crucial to my overall well being. In addition to staying active, I also illustrate (portraits are my favorite), design websites/apps and read in my spare time (a few books that changed my viewpoint on reading:  "Angela's Ashes", "Tuesday's with Morrie", "The Great Gatsby").
