    About Coach Hawthorne:

    "If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you"

    This will be my 6th year teaching, but first with Mountain Ridge and I'm very excited for the opportunity. I previously taught at Cactus High School where I also coached multiple seasons of Football, Basketball and Volleyball. I graduated Suma Cum Laude from Fairmont State University in West Virginia which I attended on a Football scholarship. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, 2 kids (5 year old daughter, 4 year old son), and Golden Retriever at home.
