I am so excited to be part of the Highland Lake's family! This is my first year at HLS, but I have been in education for 18 years, serving students and families in various communities. Over those 18 years, I have been a classroom Teacher, Instructional Coach, Professional Development Facilitator, & an Assistant Principal. 

This school year, I will be serving students in the Highland Lakes Bear Cave! I will also be working with students as a Read 180 Instructor for middle school students. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family doing all things active. My son, who also attends HLS, and I like to hike and do fun runs together. I have 2 boys, ages 1 and 6 that keep me pretty busy! I have been married to my husband, Robert for 10 years. He and I enjoy watching movies and going out for nice dinners together. 

I am looking forward to a fantastic 23-24 school year here at Highland Lakes!
