We realize that parents in the state of Arizona have many choices when it comes to their children's education.

DVUSD serves more than 33,000 students located in northern Maricopa County, covering the communities of North Phoenix, Cave Creek, New River, Glendale, and Peoria.

DVUSD's 4-year graduation rate ending in June 2024 was 94.6%-- 17.6 percentage points higher than the state average.

DVUSD's percentage of students that passed state assessments in FY 2023 exceeds the state average by 17 points in math, 16 points in English Language Arts (ELA), and 20 points in science.

DVUSD spent 72.4% of its FY23 budget on classroom spending, a category of spending that includes instruction, student support, and instructor support. This is comparable to similar "very large" unified school districts in Arizona, and is a 1.6% year-over-year increase from FY22.

DVUSD's class of 2024 earned more than $74.7 million in scholarship monies offered.

DVUSD recorded a district-best 26 schools receiving an "A" rating for the 2022-23 school year, as determined by the Arizona State Board of Education.
