Welcome to Preschool at Village Meadows School!

My name is Diane Harsch and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year!

We have many fun and engaging activities planned to give your child a wonderful learning experience.

Our school day will consist of Circle time, large motor activities, recognizing letters and their sounds, writing, science, math and planned play time. Our class will be learning through play and improve on our socialization skills and preparing your child for Kindergarten.

We will be serving your child a snack so please advise me of any doctor indicated food allergies or food that can’t be consumed due to religious practices.

Please bring a child sized backpack labeled with their name and a labeled ziplock bag with a set of extra clothes in case of an emergency. (Shirt, underwear, shorts and socks) Also, please send in one extra mask.

Your child will also need to bring a labeled Water bottle everyday! Please water only - No juice or gatorade please.

This is my sixth year at Village Meadows in the Preschool program. Previously I  taught kindergarten for 5 years. I have taught preschool in Chicago for 12 years prior to having my family. I recieved my BA in Early Childhood Education at Ottawa University. I have been married for 29 years and have a 26-year old son who proudly is a Phoenix Police officer, and an 22-year old daughter who is a lead at Dick's sporting goods and JV women's Soccer coach at Cactus Shadows High School. I enjoy hiking with my dog Oakley, spending time at Lake Pleasant and Lake Powell. I love to be anywhere near the water and beach! My favorite team is the Arizona Coyotes!
