The MYP is designed for students aged 11 to 16. It provides a framework of learning which encourages students to become creative, critical and reflective thinkers. The MYP emphasizes intellectual challenge, encouraging students to make connections between their studies in traditional subjects and to the real world. It fosters the development of skills for communication, intercultural understanding and global engagement, qualities that are essential for life in the 21st century.

2020-2021 IB MYP/Diploma Program Registration

Registration for the 2020-2021 school year begins with the completion and submission by the student of the IB MYP/Diploma Application form (see documents listed on the left).  Students should continue to complete course registration at their middle schools and following submission of the application form to the the BGHS IB Coordinator, each student will be contacted by the Coordinator or a BGHS counselor for a personal interview to complete the course registration process.  For further program information please see the "IB Information Night FAQS" or view the IB Information Night video posted below.
