Required Courses for Graduation
Students have the opportunity to expand on concepts of core classes while participating in individual and team sports; such as racketball, basketball, volleyball, tennis and softball.
This is a strength and conditioning class that will focus on training principles and nutritional strategies designed to enhance student peformance and health. The course involves cardiovascular training, agility training, plyometric conditioning, speed development, hand-eye coordination, flexibility and resistance training.
This course emphasizes weight training using fixed and free weights. Students will study the muscular system and participate in aerobic activities for endurance. Students may have the opportunity to develop individualized conditioning programs in the Systo's 3-4 @ 5-6 courses.
