MAY 2020 IB Exams have been cancelled.Due to the cancellation of school days and the uncertainty and health concerns posed by COVID-19, the IB has announced the cancellation of the May 2020 examination session. IB Diplomas and course certificates will be awarded based on student coursework (EAs and IAs) submitted. This information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.This has been an unprecedented and difficult time for the IB and all of us. Your patience and understanding is appreciated while we make our way through this process. The IB, our teachers and administrators will be working throughout this process to ensure the success of all students. The IBO provides curriculum and assessment development, teacher training and information seminars, electronic, and other services to over 5000 participating schools in more than 140 countries. There are currently 33 IB schools in Arizona offering 40 programs from Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma. Barry Goldwater High School received its IB charter in 1999. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is an honors program with a comprehensive and rigorous liberal arts curriculum, leading to examinations in the junior and senior years. It is designed for the academically talented student willing to work hard in a very structured setting. The Barry Goldwater High School International Baccalaureate (IB) Program is accepting students from the Deer Valley School District and from other districts. Our enrollment is not capped and all students who qualify for the program will be accepted. Students who apply to IB may be in 8th, 9th or 10th grades.
