This week's book is a title called, Echo by Pam Munoz Ryan. This book was chosen by our delightful Mrs. Williford who teaches fifth grade here on campus. This is what she had to say about the book Echo:
Do you love fantasy? Do you enjoy historical books? If you like both, then Echo is the book for you! Echo, by Pam Munoz Ryan, is actually three stories set in World War II that seem completely separate, but they are all connected by a special harmonica. Each main character is in a horrible situation. As the harmonica enters their lives, will it make things better or worse? You have to read all the way to the end before you find out. Music has the power to change people, but is it more than music? Is it magic? Read Echo to find out! You will love it!
Sometimes a mistake can be a wonderful thing. Sometimes a mistake is cause for celebration. That’s exactly what happens to Lucy and Thomas in this picture book about a holiday mistake, cake, and friendship.
Charles's brother and sister tell him there is no such thing as a wish tree, but that doesn't stop him from taking his trusty sled Boggan on a quest to find one.
