Hi, my name is DeAnne Dowland and I am Desert Sky's reading specialist.
I have a degree in Special Education, Elementary Education and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading Education. This is the 23rd year with Deer Valley United School District, and I love the students and teachers I work with at Sky.
I am Grandmother, with a grandson that will be three in November and a granddaughter who just turned 1. It is true what they say, being a grandparent is just the very best thing. In my spare time I train dogs for therapy work and different types of dog sports. I live on a small farm with my life partner, Mike and a horse, goats, chickens, too many dogs, and cats, I am also a professional photographer who shoots weddings, babies, families, animals and landscapes - let me know if you need a photographer.
