Welcome to Sunrise! I am excited to be your reading teacher this year. Go Lions! I have been teaching for 14 years, and this will be my tenth year teaching in the Deer Valley School District. I have experience teaching 3rd grade, 4th grade, 1st grade, and as a Reading Specialist. 
 
I am from Pittsburgh, PA (GO STEELERS!!) but I love living in Phoenix. I enjoy hiking, running, and riding bikes. I have two sons, Jack (3 years old) and Matthew (5 months old).  
 
I can't wait to start another wonderful year! I'm excited to see how much every student will learn and achieve!
