Mrs. Bonnie Faraci
Hello students and parents,
My name is Bonnie Faraci and I will be working with some of our students here at Desert Mountain School. I am very excited to be a part of the Desert Mountain Community and I cannot wait to see what this year will hold. I have been a teacher for 27 years. I began my career in Paradise Valley District as a Homebound Teacher working with children who were unable to attend school for various reasons. In August of 2009, I began working in the Deer Valley District, where I worked primarily in 4th-8th grades. However, for the last four years, I have had the opportunity to work not only in a teaching capacity but as a Special Education Strategist as well. This enabled me to not only work with the children, but I was able to work with our special education staff to help them with support and training as well. I really feel that open communication is key, so please feel free to contact me at any time. E-mail is always best, but I can be reached by phone as well.
Mission Statement:
I believe that teachers are responsible for educating tomorrow's leaders. In order to fulfill this responsibility, students need an atmosphere that is safe and secure. Expectations will be clear and consistent to provide a fair environment for all. Students in my classroom will feel free to express their ideas and will have the respect of the teacher and others in the class. I feel that parental involvement is crucial to your child's success and that communication should be open at all times to help your child succeed.
