Hello students and parents,
My name is Bonnie Faraci and I will be working with some of our students here at Desert Mountain School. I have been a teacher for 19 years, prior to joining the staff at Desert Mountain I worked with Paradise Valley School District as a Homebound Teacher. I worked with children who were unable to attend school for various reasons. Eight years ago I joined the Desert Mountain family as a Special Education Service Coordinator. However I have been a part of Desert Mountain for many years as both of my boys attended and graduated from the school. I have taught Read 180 for six years and I am really looking forward to another exciting year. Please feel free to contact me at any time throughout the school year.
Mission Statement:
I believe that teachers are responsible for educating tomorrow's leaders. In order to fulfill this responsibility students need an atmosphere that is safe and secure. Expectations will be clear and consistent to provide a fair environment for all. Students in my classroom will feel free to express their ideas and will have the respect of the teacher and others in the class. I feel that parental involvement is crucial to their child's success and that communication should be open at all times to help their child succeed.
