Governor Doug Ducey has issued an executive order urging Arizonians to stay home.  The order takes effect at 5 pm on March 31, 2020.  DVUSD will communicate with families as to how this new order may impact school operations over the next few weeks; however, Home Learning will continue for the remainder of the school year.  The staff is ready to support our students and families.

Home Learning
DVUSD is committed to providing home learning for your child.  Please see the HOME LEARNING page for weekly assignments and also check your email and Class DOJO for messages and updates.  Zoom Meeting links and passwords will only be sent out in an email or on Class DOJO for privacy reasons.

Beginning April 6, 2020, teachers-directed online instruction, as well as home packets, will begin.  Teacher-directed instruction will continue for the remainder of this school year.  Look for a link on my website labeled Home Learning.  We will have two Zoom meeting times daily as well for you to connect.

Welcome to first grade!  Please visit our class website often as it contains a lot of information about our classroom, activities, updates and general information. We have started using Google Classrooms recently at school.  If you would like to access your child's Google Account at home, they will need to type @learner.dvusd.org after the regular login they use at school to log into a school device.  Their password remains the same which is their 6 digit student id number.  Go to google and look for the "waffle" icon in the upper-righthand corner.  Click on that and look for a blue shield icon that says ACCOUNT.  If you don't see it there, scroll down to "more" and you will find it there.  Use the login info and after you login go back to the "waffle" and click on that again and you will see Google Classroom there.  Click on that and you will be in Google Classroom.  You should be able to store/save your login info so you don't have to repeat this each time.  Feel free to contact me via e-mail at any time using the contact information under my picture to the left.
