Accelerated Reader at Park Meadows

  • AR Logo Students in grades 4 and 5 use the reading program Accelerated Reader (AR). Students are tested to determine their reading levels at the beginning of school and their levels are increased as they show progress. Classroom libraries are supported by more than 7,000 AR leveled books available for check out in the LMC!

    STUDENTS may access AR BookFinder to locate books that are at their reading level. They may look for any AR books or they may refine their search to books in the Park Meadows LMC using the keycode UE706636 to limit your search to our collection.

    PARENTS may monitor their child's Accelerated Reader progress via Home Connect. Home Connect is a fun, easy-to-use, easy-to-understand web-based interface that allows the student, parents and the teacher to share in the educational experience by viewing progress in the Accelerated Reader program outside of school. You may also click E-mail Setup to sign up to receive e-mails alerts after your student has taken a quiz. Help is available to answer your questions while connected to Home Connect. You will need a user name and password from your student's teacher. Please note: this is NOT the same user name and password used to access PowerSchool.
