• 2022-2023 Sierra Verde STEAM Academy Supply Lists

    *Arizona law requires that public schools provide supplies required for academic success. This list represents optional, supplementary items which you may supply, at your discretion.  If you need assistance with school supplies, please contact your child’s teacher - we are happy to help ensure that your child has everything he or she needs to be successful.

     



    2nd Grade

    Individual Student Supplies (some items are for community use):

    • headphones in a baggie labeled with your child’s name

    • 1 pencil box

    • 1 box of 24 crayons

    • 1 box of colored markers

    • 1 yellow highlighter

    • Pink rectangle erasers

    • 1 pair of kid-safe scissors

    • 3 spiral notebooks (wide ruled)- (Perry, Smith, Cerjak- NO HATFIELD) 

    • 1 3-subject spiral notebook (wide ruled)- (HATFIELD ONLY)

    • 1 composition book (2 for Perry and Hatfield)

    • 1 one-inch 3 ring clear view binder

    • 8 glue sticks

    • 1 box of #2 sharpened pencils

    • 3 heavy-duty plastic folders (no prongs): 1 green, 1 yellow 

    • Mrs. S. Smith’s and Mrs. Hatfield class only-  2 extra heavy-duty plastic folder~ purple & red (total of 4 folders)

    • 8 dry erase markers (black low odor; Expo brand preferred)

    • 1 ruler with both cm and inches- no bendy rulers

    • 1 clip board

    • 1 pack of sheet protectors 

    • 1 clear cover report folder (Cerjak, Perry, Hatfield- NO SMITH)

    • $8 for Scholastic News (pay online)

    Items appreciated for classroom donations and community use:

    • 1 box of tissues

    • 1 container of Lysol/Clorox Wipes

    • 1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags (Smith & Hatfield)

    • 1 box quart size Ziploc bag (Smith & Hatfield)

    • 1 roll paper towels (Perry & Hatfield)

    • 1 ream of white copy paper
