AP UNITED STATES HISTORYThis course prepares students to take the Advanced Placement Examination for the College Board in United States History. This course includes analysis of major events in United States and Arizona history from the colonial period to the present. Class requirements may include summer readings and projects. Enrolled students are expected to take the AP exam in May.GRADE: 11

DUAL ENROLLMENT US HISTORY 103/104
This course will cover American/Arizona history of North American prehistoric cultures through the 21st century. This course is required for graduation. This course is aligned to HIS 103/104 at Rio Salado Community College and is available for dual enrollment credit at some sites. Community college tuition applies.

Academy of American Studies: US1 History Honors
This course will focus on early American Indian civilizations pre-European discovery through colonization and the American Revolution. It is a one year course and part of the Academy of American Studies program.
