BEGINNING WEEK OF APRIL 20TH new learning and all links will be on Google Classroom

NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Beginning the week of April 13th, you will be using Google Classroom to access all the lesson plan links.  You can still view the weekly lesson plan via the link on my page, but all of the content will be through Google Classroom.  You will be receiving an email with all the log in information, as well as information for Zearn.  I hope this is an easy transition for us all.  Please do not hesitate to contact me through email if you have any questions.

    Dear Students and Families:

As you know, DVUSD has transitioned to Home Learning for the remainder of the school year. This is a new format for all, and as your teacher, I have been busy learning lots of new ways to help you stay connected from home.

I miss you all, and would much rather we were all together in the classroom.  We will get through this together. In an effort to keep you learning, I have created a weekly lesson plan that can be followed from home.  There are also links for the webpages for specials teachers, service coordinators, reading specialists, ELL, and gifted.

*My office hours will be:  Monday through Thursday 8:00-8:30 AM and 1:00-1:30 PM

You will be able to connect to these meeting times through Zoom.  So first go to and sign up for free for the app.  Due to security issues, you will have to email me for the link  and passwords or access it from the google classroom that will be available soon

As we embark on this journey together, please do not hesitate to ask questions and let me know how you and your family are doing (see email below). Please take care of yourselves and be safe and healthy!

    With much teacher love,

    Mrs. Alfich
