Week of May 18th:
HAVE FUN LEARNING + MAKING ART AT HOME!
Happy May everyone! I miss all of your smiling faces so much!! I am so thankful that I get to reconnect with you each week via my weekly check in and our class meetings.
Stay happy, healthy, and have a great week!
WEEKLY ACTIVITY FOR ALL GRADE LEVELS:
This week we will be practicing our drawing skills at home by drawing elephants. Use the supplies that you already have. Even if it is just a pencil and paper. Just do your best. The important thing is that you are practicing. During our class meeting, we will watch a video demonstration together. If you are unable to attend the class meeting, or would like to rewatch the tutorial, I am posting the links to them below. :)
Starting this week we will have class meetings (see meeting schedule below). During the 15 minute class meeting, there will be a demonstration of this weeks activity.

15 MINUTE CLASS MEETINGS:
Please try your best to attend once a week (it will be the same demonstration each day of the week) either on the day you would normally attend art for specials or on the day that works for your schedule as long as it doesn't interfere with other classes.
If you are unable to attend class meetings, all of the information you need for the weekly activity including a tutorial video is on this website. So please submit weekly artwork to me even if your child is unable to attend the class meeting so that I can still give them participation points.
Monday - Thursday I will be doing 2 tutorials from 11:30am-122:00pm. Each week will be a new activity. Feel free to join the zoom meeting during the 15 minute tutorial geared toward your grade level (see below) or you may join us for both tutorials and stay on for the whole 30 minutes if it does not interfere with your other classes.
Because of security reasons, I am unable to post my zoom invites on my website. Classroom teachers have been emailed my zoom codes :) (same code all year)
11:30am-11:45am....kindergarten - 2nd grade
11:45am-12:00pm....3rd - 5th grade
I will be doing the same tutorial every day throughout the week and you only need to join our class meetings once a week. Feel free to stay on the whole half hour if you would like to see both tutorials.
6th grade: 8:30-9:00 am (Monday + Wednesday)
