Welcome to Ms. McCarthy's History courses website.

The last week of the grace period for Unit 7 is April 25th. You must schedule a Zoom meeting and submit the late assignments during the meeting. If you schedule an appointment but are unable to attend, please give me advanced notice so that I can make that time slot available to other students. I will schedule appointments during the day and on two evenings (Tues & Thurs.). Keep in mind that I have other responsibilities as a teacher and I have regular weekly scheduled meetings. I will book at the top of the hour and the bottom of the hour for 30 minute blocks of time. Usually, meetings take 10-15 minutes, but this allows time for technical issues, lateness and questions.

As appointments are booked or become available, I will update this. Check my website before messaging me on Canvas.

    Availabilities (subject to change)

    Monday,  May 16th: 9 am, 9:30 am, 10 am, 10:30 am, 11 am, 11:30 am, 12 pm, 12:30 pm, 1 pm, 1:30 pm, 5 pm, 5:30 pm, 5:45 pm, 6 pm, 6:15 pm,  6:30 pm, 6:45 pm, 7 pm, 7:15 pm and 7:30 pm (deadline for assignments is 11:59 pm)

The best way to contact me is though Canvas Messenger. When communicating, please provide specific details including assignment/project titles.

Spring 2022 Semester Zoom Office Hours: All VCM (Virtual Class Meetings) will be Thursday afternoons. I have three courses I am teaching this semester. The Zoom VCMs will be between the hours of 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm. I hope this will make it possible for full-time and part-time students to be able to attend. Anytime you may request a one-on-one Zoom meeting, just message me in Canvas. Please use the link in Canvas on the "Zoom" page to attend the meeting for your course.

During normal school hours, I will be grading assignments and working on updating Canvas. This means that I will be accessible virtually through Canvas Messenger. I will also check my messages in the evening hours, as I know that some students are more active in the afternoon and evening.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions about the courses or technology issues. If I do not know the answer, I will do my best to find the person or resources that do.
