The number one thing you can do to help your child become a better reader, is to read to them and with them! If your child embraces the magic of reading, you are more than halfway there. Make it a fun family time, read a book to your child, trade off reading pages/words, encourage and praise your child as he/she reads.
We will begin in person small group instruction mid August after we have completed necessary assessments to determine each child's individual needs. In the meantime, you remember to read daily to your child and, if you would like, you can have your child access one of these home learning sites for additional support.
