    Week 5 Sep 9 - 13

    Mon   9/9 - Review Density for retake on Friday 9/13

    Tue    9/10 - ID problem, conduct research, form a hypothesis, and conduct an expriment and begin writing lab                       report following template.

    Wed   9/11 - Create procedures, make observations, and collect data

    Thu   9/12 - Analyze data, and create tables and graphs 

    Fri     9/13 - Finish lab report (check against rubric), and write a conclusion due Sun by 11:59 pm. Review for scientific method quiz (9/20). Density quiz retake 

     

    Week 4 Sep 2 - 6

    Wed  9/4 - Analyzing Data, drawing conclusions, review Parent Curriculum Night 6 - 7pm

    Thu   9/5 - Gizmo - Density Due Friday at beginning of class

    Fri     9/6 - Density Quiz, ISN check, create Boom Cards accounts, and review Scientific Inquiry

    Density - the amount of mass in a given volume. Know the formula D=M/V. Know how to find V in regular and irregular shaped objects. Then use the volume and mass to calculate an item's density.

    Fri     8/23 - Early Release 2 pm. Quiz on Lab Equipment and Safety Symbols: Identify 8 WHMIS symbols and 12 HHPS symbols. There are 3 levels and 4 types which create the 12 HHPS symbols. Identify the common lab equipment/tools. Questions types will vary.
