Mrs. Stanchfield
Mrs. Stanchfield is a highly qualified teacher in the Deer Valley Unified School District. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an ESL endorsement. As an educator, Mrs. Stanchfield earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at Northern Arizona University. She participates in all professional developments in order to keep current with the best teaching practices.
During the last 19 years in the Deer Valley United School District, Mrs. Stanchfield taught in Second, Third, and Fourth grades. She is dedicated to nurturing a classroom that utilizes cooperative learning strategies. Mrs. Stanchfield is excited about preparing your child to learn and work together with fellow students in order to ensure the Arizona College and Career Readiness standards are mastered.
One of Mrs. Stanchfield's goals as a teacher is to prepare her students to be lifelong self motivated learners. She feels that teaching utilizing technology in the classroom is imperative in 21st Century world.
Lastly, Mrs. Stanchfield always strives to achieve a healthy home-school relationship as it is vital to a child's success. She looks forward to an EXTRAORDINARY year with you and your student.
