             Spring Toiletries/Personal Items Drive for St. Vincent DePaul

    The Sonoran Foothill School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is collecting Toiletries and personal items such as; deodorant, toothpaste/brushes/floss, razors & shave cream, shampoo & conditioner, soap/body wash/lotion, combs/brushes, Q-Tips, Feminine products, Chap stick, Sunscreen/sunblock, laundry pods/dryer sheets, Band-Aids, hand santizer, reusable water bottles.

    Drop off in any classroom or in our lobby. MARCH 28TH THROUGH APRIL 26TH.

    Chapter meetings are held in 507 at 12:35 (middle school lunch period). On meeting days PLEASE bring your lunch to eat so we can start the meeting without delay and finish ASAP to allow recess time.


      All members are required to serve a minimum of 20 hours of community servce for each school year.


    All members are encouraged to contemplate which organizations they want to serve and how their service will make an impact. There will be new elections for the 2018-19 year officers as well as several new committees. 

    Membership fees are due, $20.00            NJHS T-shirts for new members are $20.00


    NJHS Membership Requirements: In spring of 6th grade, eligible students will be nominated for membership by the NJHS Council. Membership is contingent on nominees accepting the responsibilities of membership.
    7th & 8th grade status, exhibit the 5 pillars of NJHS; Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, & Citizenship.
    3.5 minimum GPA
    20 hours minimum of community service a year (Must be linked to a non-profit, can be before or after school)
    Students need to attend all NJHS meetings; allowed 2 unexcused missed meetings (Absences from school are excused)
    If a student will miss a meeting, they must complete a form  and hand it in BEFORE the scheduled meeting in order to communicate this missed meeting with me, the advisor. The PDF of the form is below.
