Hello,

My name is Heather Ambrose.  I am so thrilled to be teaching music at Mirage for the fifth year in a row.  This will be my ninth year teaching overall.  I have my Bachelors degree in Music Education from Northern Arizona University, and my Masters degree in Reading in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University.  I was born and raised here in Arizona and am a proud desert girl.  When I am not teaching I love to cook, craft, and hang out with our Boxer puppy, Bernie!

I am excited to continue helping students ignite their creativity in our General Music classes.  In these classes, students will learn how to sing, dance, play instruments, and learn how read rhythms and notes. Oniline learning is going to be adventure this year, but I'm still here to provide students with musical experiences and memories that they can carry with them throughout the years.

Look for your Music class in your Canvas Dashboard.  Each music class will start off with 20 minutes of live Zoom followed by a short Canvas assignment.  Look for more details on the Daily Schedules tab!
