Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Cami Kelley
I grew up in Alaska and went to college at Northern Arizona University where I earned two degrees in elementary education and special education. Having taught students in both the general education classroom, the special educaiton classroom, as well as the homeschooling environment, I have found I love them all! From teaching near Mount McKinley in a tiny town in Alaska, to teaching in a big city like Phoenix, I love instilling a love for learning and an excellence in work ethic. A crutial element in teaching is demonstrating to kids that they matter and the choices they make matter. I believe character building is at the core of learning and that core becomes the springboard for longevity and creativity. These values lead to vision and hope, which give us purpose to affect our world and give back to others.
My hobbies have changed over the years, but I still love photography. I will always love spending time with my children; they are priceless. Dark chocolate filled with some gooey caramel, raspberry or orange 'stuff' will always give me a smile, and traveling to beautiful new places always refreshes me!
