    Marlina Keppner
     
    Marlina Keppner, marlina.keppner@dvusd.org has a B.S. in Education from NAU and is certified in Physical Education and Health. During her 20+ years in education, she has taught Health, Racquet Sports, Team Sports, Systematics, Powertraining, and 7th grade Science. She currently serves as the Physical Education department chair and head softball coach at Barry Goldwater High School, a position she has held since 1996. She helped write the district's Health curriculum and teaches Health for the Deer Valley Online Learning Program.

    Deann Potts
     
    Deann Potts, deann.potts@dvusd.org, is certified in K-12 Physical Education and Health and has been teaching for the Deer Valley Online Learning Program since the program's inception. She earned a B.S. in Physical Education from Grand Canyon University in 1998. She enjoys the outdoors and coaching softball and volleyball.

    Kevin Riegle

    Kevin Riegle, Kevin.Riegle@dvusd.org, started teaching at Deer Valley High School in 2004 and is currently teaching Sports Medicine and Power Training at DVHS.  He started teaching Health for the Deer Valley Online Learning Program during the summer of 2017.  He graduated with a BS in Athletic Training in 2002 and the earned a Masters in Education in 2003, both from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio.  He competed in Track and Cross Country at his college Alma Mater from 1999 to 2003.  He is also a licensed Athletic Training in the State of Arizona.

    Sven Christianson, sven.christanson@dvusd.org graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango Colorado with a BA in Exercise Science then received a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Phoenix. He has taught physical education for the past 27 years and has worked for Glendale Community College for the past 9 years as an adjunct professor in the Fitness Center as well as coaching football for the Gauchos.
