Vista Peak is home to a diverse student population with academic, behavioral, and social/emotional needs.  Students are enrolled in these services through an Individual Education Plan (IEP) team and district assignment.  These services are not available through open enrollment.  Vista Peak provides a low student to teacher ratio with an ever evolving environment to best meet the needs of the student population.  It offers individual, specialized support and services as well as high-quality academics based on Arizona College and Career Readiness Standards and grade appropriate district approved curriculum.

Students will receive the specially designed instruction and services available in a small school environment, with strategies they will use to be successful in their neighborhood schools and communities.

In order to achieve this outcome, continual, on-site professional development and training will be provided for school and district staff to address student needs for a successful and smooth assimilation back to the neighborhood schools.
