We are excited to be a part of your first year at Sunset Ridge! We will be learning so much together. We will focus on building our literacy skills so we can become great readers and writers. We will also explore many math concepts including: counting to 100, writing numbers, addition and subtraction within 20, measuring, shapes and place value. It will be an amazing year of learning!

Kindergarten homework will be used to practice skills taught in class. Students should be able to complete homework in 5-10 minutes, plus time for reading. Homework will not be graded. If homework is consistently neglected, it will be marked on the report card under Student Conduct. Students can make up any missed homework.
