Hello!  My name is Cindy Lunde and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade math this year.  This is my 5th year teaching at Stetson Hills.  I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors Degree in Education; and spent 12 years teaching children with special needs, both in a regular education setting and in self contained classrooms. My favorite subject to teach has always been math.  I took a break from teaching to raise my 3 children who have all attended DVUSD schools since kindergarten. My son is a senior at O'Connor, my daughter a junior at O'Conner, and my youngest daughter is in 8th grade at Hillcrest.  I am originally from Illinois, but have been in Phoenix since 1996.  I live with my husband, 3 children, 3 dogs and 3 cats.  We are a rescue family, and have fostered over 80 dogs and cats until they found their forever homes. In my free time I love reading, going to the movies, traveling with my family, and snuggling with our furry friends. Let's make it a great year!
