Welcome to Pre-Kindergarten!

Community education believes that children learn best through play and in the context of secure, trusting relationships. Children are encouraged to be active, creative explorers. Our goal is to help them become independent, confident, inquisitive, life-long learners. In this way, we value and are responsive to each child's abilities, learning styles, and developmental pace. The program recognizes parents as the child's first and most important teacher and emphasizes collaboration and partnership with families as integral to the child's learning and development. Our program strives to be culturally and linguistically responsive and to partner with families to promote children's home language acquisition.
