My name is Julie Tite and I have taught middle school science for years in the Peoria school district and then high school biology in Deer Valley school district.  I recently moved to Anthem and am very excited to be teaching 7th grade science at Desert Mountain!  I received my BS from Arizona State, and Master of Education in School Counseling from LaMar University, Beaumont Texas.  I love our students and am excited to be a part of the awesome Desert Mountain team!

Please check out our photo gallery for pics of our learning!

Current Wish List:  I have been asked by some parents to let them know if I needed anything so here are the latest needs/wants in 7th grade science! This is completely voluntary of course! Thank you in advance for any contributions!

*In the next few weeks we are going to be doing a fun and educational lab activity that requires different kinds of chocolate chips; semi-sweet, milk, white, mint, butterscotch, peanut butter etc. and rolls of parchment paper.  It simulates the rock cycle and the 3 different types of rock; igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic!  If you would like to donate a bag of chocolate chips or a roll of parchment paper it would be greatly appreciated! And be sure and let me know asap if your child has any allergies.

*Non-electric carpet sweeper ... second-hand is great - in case there are any thrift shop junkies that may see one :)
