Welcome to 7th Grade Science, 3rd Quarter!

Ms. Tite info

My name is Julie Tite and I have taught middle school science for years in the Peoria school district and then high school biology and honors biology in the Deer Valley school district.  This is my third year teaching 7th grade Science at Desert Mountain!  I live in Anthem but am originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago.  I received my Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University, and Master of Education from LaMar University, Beaumont Texas.  I love our students and am excited to be a part of the awesome DVUSD team!

I have one daughter and son-in-law who also live in Anthem and are expecting their first child in April.  My son is a seargent in the Marines and currently lives with his wife in southern California.  They just came back from 4 years in Okinawa and he is about to be deployed this summer. My hobbies include hiking (especially in my home away from home Estes Park, Co.), reading, cooking, spending time with my family, friends, fiancé, and 3 rescue dogs.

I am excited to be sharing my enthusiasm for science and my passion for helping students succeed in life, both academically and socially/emotionally. Please check out my photo gallery for pictures of past learning!
