| Purpose of committee: The charge of the District Calendar Committee is to create and recommend a calendar for the 2016-17 school year. The committee will discuss start and end dates and full release days only. The committee will not have any input on the early release days. |

Prospective members are encouraged to fill out an application if they are interested in serving on the committee. Former members are invited to remain on the committee and if there are vacancies, new members will be selected from the applications submitted.
