    Welcome to 2nd grade at Sierra Verde School!  We love 2nd grade and we know you will too. This will be yet another great year of learning, coupled with personal and academic growth for all students. 
    We are looking forward to this school-year's journey together
     as students, parents, and teachers. 

    This year, we will be working on standards in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. 
    We will instruct students using the Arizona College and Career Readiness Standards, as well as the 
    Arizona Science and Social Studies Standards.
