I am honored to return to Arrowhead Elementary School as its principal. Back in 2005-2007, I served as assistant principal. For the last eight years, I have been the principal of Bellair Elementary. I’ve also been a part of the Deer Valley School District for 34 years. Sticking around is important to me. Creating a strong community of caring is also important to me. You will hear me refer to us as an ohana. Ohana means family and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten.
I also believe that communication between school and home has never been more important. As we plan for school to reopen – both online and in person, I will send out messages to families routinely. I look forward to getting to know all of you. Together, we will bring a quality education to all students in an emotionally healthy and safe environment.
