STEM Education Offered at New River
New River routinely provides students with learning opportunities through enriching STEM activities. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math and STEM at New River encompasses these content areas. Once a month, all New River students participate in a campus wide STEM day. In addition, teachers routinely enrich grade level standards with STEM challenges and projects. As a result, New River students are developing essential 21st century skills such as problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, and collaboration!

PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) Program at New River
All New River students demonstrate CATS Expectations. C- Constantly Caring A- Always Respectful, Today's Citizens and S-Safety First. Students earn wildcat bucks for demonstrating these expectations that they can use to purchase item and fun experience coupons in the Wildcat Den.
