Kindergarten Registration Now Underway!

Registration for Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year has begun! Students should be 5 years old by August 31, 2019. Early entry testing is available if your child will turn 5 years old between September 1 and December 31, 2019.

DVUSD is thrilled to offer a free full-day Kindergarten program at all of our K-6 and K-8 schools. We know that when our youngest students are provided with the tools necessary to develop strong academic, social, and emotional skills, they will succeed in school in the future. In Deer Valley, 95% of our Schools are rated A or B by the Arizona Department of Education.

DVUSD is unique is providing “specials” classes (art, music, or PE) every day for our kindergarten students. This offering gives students the greatest opportunity to enhance overall learning, growth, creativity, and physical development. In addition, several studies have shown that these types of classes increase achievement in literacy and math as well.
