Annual Turkey Trot
The Annual Park Meadows Turkey Trot fun run will be held on Friday, November 16th during your child’s specials time:
6th - 8:50-9:35 5th – 10:20-11:05 4th – 9:35-10:20 3rd – 12:20-1:05
2nd – 2:40-3:25 1st – 1:50-2:35 K – 1:05- 1:50
Families are more than welcome to come out and “Trot” with their kiddos during the allotted grade level “Trot Time.” As always please sign in at the office and meet us on the track.
For this event we are in need of any donations of nonperishable food items that can be used for a fall feast. The donations will be used as drawing prizes for the students who run, jog, or walk the most laps in a 45 minute time period. Student’s names will be put in a drawing at the end of each class period. We are hoping to be able to draw 3 names from each grade level to provide a certificate for a free turkey/rotisserie chicken. Several other names will be drawn for seasonal baked goods as well.
We cannot take turkeys as donations any longer per district policy which no longer allows us to store turkeys in the school freezers. We are hoping to receive donations for at least 21 turkey/rotisserie chicken certificates (from Sam’s Club, Costco, Fry’s, Safeway, Target, or Walmart), cash donations (for the school to go purchase the certificates from the above mentioned stores) and seasonal store bought baked goods (desert items) to have for our Turkey Trot drawings at each grade level.
