First Day of School

Greetings Park Meadows Families,

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! Please join us for Back to School night for the 2022-23 school year on Monday August 1 at 5 PM. This is your opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, see their classroom, and familiarize yourself with our campus. You will also be able to set up and add money to your child’s lunch accounts, speak to transportation about buses, as well as meet the school nurse and parent liaison. There will be FREE backpacks & school supplies available, sponsored by City View Church.
We are excited to introduce food trucks to our plans for community events! For Back to School Night, we will have K-Star BBQ and Kona Ice food trucks parked at the front of the campus from 5 to 7 PM, along with picnic tables so you can relax and enjoy dinner with your family. A percentage of sales will go back to Park Meadows.

All class lists will be posted on bulletin boards throughout campus. For your convenience, attached is a campus map with room numbers and locations of posted class lists.

In order to help manage the lines, please make note of the following:
Students in grade K-2 will stop in the cafeteria first for the backpack drive, cafeteria, and transportation questions at 5 PM and then go out to campus to get their class assignment and meet their teacher.

Students in grades 3-6 will check their class lists at 5 PM, go to meet their teachers first and stop at the cafeteria afterwards. If you have students in both grade level bands, you may choose your order.

Optional student supple lists are available;e on our website

A volunteer training will be held at 6:00 PM in the multipurpose room immediately after Back to School night. If you are interested in volunteering in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, attending class parties, etc. you must attend this district-required volunteer class once prior to volunteering.

Please remember that Park Meadows is fortunate enough to be able to utilize the parking lot of St. James Church across the street to help alleviate overflow parking. In order for us to continue to maintain this privilege, please be considerate and park in the back half of the church parking. Please obey the posted speed limit of 10 MPH and park in the far west (dirt side) of the parking lot. Do not park in the first 3 rows of spaces nearest the Church. Signs will be posted to help guide you.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the front office.

We look forward to seeing you!

Respectfully,
Kim Lanese,
Principal
